A native of Los Angeles, Craig Calsbeek is a graduate from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and has worked actively in marketing communications for over 25 years.
Craig started out as a freelance illustrator, represented on both coasts and commissioned by a formidable roster of consumer publications and book publishers. He was a regular contributor to the Los Angeles Times and an outside consultant to Apple Computer during the early development of the Macintosh. He also served as a freelance Graphic Designer and Art Director for many national advertising agencies.
Craig has created award-winning corporate identities, promotions, direct mail, print ads, press relations campaigns, POP materials, direct response campaigns, annual reports, collateral materials of all sizes and shapes, billboards and trade show booths. He also designs and implements internet and social marketing strategies.
Craig currently works independently for a select mix of large and small companies and he enjoys giving back by working pro-bono for several worthwhile charitable organizations such as Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, Carlsbad based Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, and the San Diego Ronald McDonald House.
Some of Craig's favorite things include activities with his wife and 3 kids plus concerts, movies, jazz music, fast cars, golf, gardening and a passion for collecting retro toy collectibles.
